These expectations may sound reasonable. But often, these things won't
happen! So you end up frustrated and disappointed. There's a better
strategy. Have less demands. Instead, have preferences! For things that
are
beyond your control, tell yourself: "I WOULD PREFER "A", BUT IF "B"
HAPPENS,
IT'S OK TOO!" This is really a game that you play in your head.

It is a shift in attitude, and it gives you more peace of mind. You prefer

that people are polite ... but when they are rude, it doesn't ruin your
day.
You prefer sunshine ... but rain is ok!

To become happier, we either need to

a) change the world, or
b) change our thinking. It is easier to change our thinking!

After being “lectured”, I have been spending more time thinking about myself. How can I expect other people to respect me if I don’t respect myself? In Astro, there is 1 advertisement to promote the movie HOMELESS TO HARVARD in Hallmark channel. In that ad, the girl said this: “I know I am smart, I just need a chance to succeed”. I find this sentence abit too good and snobbish. But she seems to be very confident which I admire.

I have to deal with myself by changing my self confidence. I know it is hard to accomplish but I am able to handle it. Hereby, I would like to apologize for those who make an effort to “lecture” me and also to those who kena from me. Sorry. =)

I will be having summer break which is quite long. In order not to waste those 3 months, I must spend more time changing.

1) Work in Shelter (orphanage)
2) Go FRIM in Kepong (nature/adventure) – Enjoy the nature. They even have the canopy walk.
3) Change my specs to rimless I think.
4) Learn guitar (hopefully acoustic)
5) Read this book: The 5 People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom

All this gonna be expensive. Of course I might be going to travel around.

Myth and a "stupid song"

Age of Mythology. Consists of about 40 missions! I finally finished the game yesterday. I seriously think it is quite a good game. Among all the strategy games I played, this is quite good. As usual, there are 3 races in the game which are Greek, Noble and Egyptian. Why most of the strategy games have 3 races like Starcraft, Battle Realms and Generals? Each race has their own unique God and God Power. They even have meteor power which is quite cool! The main character in this game is Arkantos which does not exist in the Greek Mythology. For those who like Age of Empire, I highly recommend this game. I think I only give this game about 7.5 out of 10. But not the best strategy game I ever played of course. I started to play strategy game since standard 1 and the game was Dune 2. Classic game. Followed by Warcraft 2 and then the mighty C&C games. I actually played all the C&C games before including their expansion like Covert Operation, Aftermath and Yuri Revenge.

Britney feat Madonna: Me against Music. Hmmm…. This song is kinda catchy. The video clip is cool and of course Britney still look so HOT (Check out the last part!). And I have to say the dance move in that clip is quite nice and cool. It can be a very good song for clubbing. But I don’t really like the title. Me against music, then what she singing then? And another thing is I can’t really differentiate who is singing, both Britney and Madonna voice sound quite familiar.

Memories

I saw some of the class photos during college life. Time passes very fast. In fact too fast until I can’t even believe that I am sitting for my finals for the first semester next week for my university.

What are memories then? We can’t change/turn back time. Guess that all we have just memories. I guess by the time we reach old, we will look back and said “Hmm, time passes very fast”.

Life is like that, we have to move on. So are memories bringing good or bad consequences? I myself not too sure about it. Memories bring a lot of joy but then they bring some tears too. So should we just let go our past memories and move on? It is very hard to let go all the memories. They are stuck in our head forever. If we do not let go our memories, I guess that they will haunt us till we die 1 day. Sometimes when we want to keep the nice moment forever, we can’t. We are not God, we can’t change time. Talking about that, what I think, whatever happening around are all planned by God. We do not really have the ability to change what have been planned. Whatever happen sure have a reason behind it. Maybe memories are just a test for us.

Signs from Dream?

I woke up and found myself in a murderer body. What a big change! And i was on the way to be sentenced to death! This is so scary. I was asking for help and explained that I am not the murderer bla bla bla bla. People surrounding seem like do not care as if there were no sound at all coming from me. So I end up crying for help. And moment later, I realised it was just a dream. Sigh of relief.

What is dream then? According to this source (whoops, dont know how to add link):

Dreams are a communication of body, mind and spirit in a symbolic communicative environmental state of being.

What the dream try to tell me? It is about death!

Death
Nearly any dream you have that refers to death, dying or attending a funeral, or the like, pertain to change. Most all the time this change is very dramatic and major. So is it some kinda of signs? Hmmm... interesting.
I have some few dreams where I will always inside a really dark room. I cant see anything. Only the feelings. Maybe this dream wants to tell me that i have really low self esteem. But can i dream about the way out?

My mom, once told me not to tell anyone about the dream. Perhaps some chinese supersitious.

Is dream related to pshycology? Somehow i think they are related. maybe i shall do more research on pshycology during my 3 months break.

Went to SS2 alone, yah.. actually Hong Leong asked to go cybercafe. I went there, dont feel like playing WC3. Wanted to play Generals: Zero Hour. SO BLOODY CUN! So i just stand there looking at other gamers played generals for quite some time.
After watching the General game, i just went off, walking alone on the street in SS2 and i bought 4 movies. UNDERWORLD!!!

Another boring day.. sigh.
But is good to recieve so many wishes. Though didnt get some grand thing. i still appreciate all the effort made to wish me.

Conservation

In my lecture just now (Environmental Management), my lecturer pointed out in order to save the water, she suggested shower with a friend!! All of us were laughing there!! so bodoh!

And she was promoting Volvo car as she said VOLVO car designed in such a way to last VERY long time. She even pointed out that all parts of Volvo car can be biodegrable. Hmm... doesnt sound convincing enough to me. =) But i think Volvo car is quite tahan lasak. Far better than Proton of course!

So to summarise today lecture, SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT! 3R=Reduce, Reuse and Recycle! Dont use plastic bags!! haha...

Nothing about lecture now, 3 more weeks to finals, then summer break! better suffer for this 3 weeks.. I have to start studying after my pamphlet.

My Theory

There are 2 different type of guys which are Christian type and Non Christian type. Most Christian guys do not comment on girls like Non Christian guys. According to my friend, Jeff, he told me that Christian guys tend NOT to be desperate because they believe that GOD will send someone suitable when time comes. So they do not need to worry about it. I think it makes sense anyway.

That's why, most guys with EX usually are NOT Christian. So is my theory correct?

One more thing, Underworld is banned! DAMN! My fave actress is in that movie! What's wrong with the movie? I believe there are no SEX scene.. maybe abit violence.. but not as violent as Final Destination 2 right? And i dont get it why Italian Job is allowed to screen here? is about robbery.. and 2 Fast 2 Furious.. about illegel car racing. So i guess the censorship board wants to introduce illegal racing and robbery. =p

But i watched Italian Job, not bad.. Charlize Theron ROX! love the Mini Cooper!
